KLOPMAN, 2nd Edition

Rome and Florence students are working together these days for the photo-shooting in preparation for the new Klopman calendar.

Inside the site of an old, Roman wool factory in Via Pietralata, the backstage set is alive with this project that unites fashion and industry, in this case Klopman, multinational textile industry specialized in the production of technical fabrics perfect for use in work clothes. The high fashion looks designed by the Accademia Italiana blend well with the special fabrics that this industry has supplied again this year in various colors and qualities. Paolo Colaiocco, professor of fashion photography, coordinates the work on the set. The first edition of the calendar, 2015, was done inside the industry headquarters in Frosinone, with the models set among the giant machines that each year produce more than 1,000 km of technical textiles.
