Christmas window display and photoshoot for COIN Excelsior

For the first time, the three main windows of the prestigious store are designed by a young fashion designer, winner of a contest held among the students of the school

The talents of Accademia Italiana dress the windows of the COIN Excelsior in Rome. On the occasion of the holiday season, the store in Via Cola di Rienzo will change its face, thanks to the artwork of our young designers who will decorate the three main windows of the store for an original atmosphere with a dreamlike flavor.

An opportunity made possible thanks to the partnership between COIN and Accademia Italiana, which involved some of the institute's students to participate in a theme contest won by Maryama Hasanzade.

Her proposal, in keeping with the Christmas spirit, draws from the memory of every child, with reinterpretations of traditional glass balls that, when shaken, cloak the store space in magic and memories.

The Window Display Contest was launched as part of the Fashion Setting Course, taught by Lecturer Barbara Annunziata to the students of the three-year course in fashion design, jewelry, photography and Interior design. The themes presented were many with use of different techniques and materials: macro textures, three-dimensional objects made with laser cut, handmade paper flowers, origami, paper, cardboard, photography, digital collage, fabrics, looms, plant essences. The winner was the idea that, with simplicity and immediacy, struck a deep chord, giving a dreamy atmosphere in line with the values of Christmas.

The project will be presented on Friday, December 6, in the presence of representatives of Accademia Italiana and COIN Excelsior, on the occasion of store's double anniversary, which will celebrate the 10th annivesary of Coin Excelsior and the 25th anniversary of Coin. On this occasion, at 5:30 p.m., inside a specially prepared set, a special photo shoot will be staged by students of the Three-Year Photography Course of Accademia Italiana, coordinated by lecturer Tania Alineri.

Customers of the store will have the opportunity to be the protagonists of a professional portrait, a gift that will be given to them as a Christmas greeting.
