Graduated in 2015, he is among the photographers involved in the world-wide “The Covid-19 Visual Project” – promoted by Cortona On the Move, San Paolo and the Tuscany Region in order to document the current epidemic.

Mattia Crocetti is among great photographers such as Alex Majoli, Simon Norfolk, Gérome Sessini, Paolo Woods, Andrea Frazzetta. A source of pride for the Photography Department of the Accademia Italiana. The project, initiated in these months and destined to go on until the end of the emergency, is online from 11 May: https://www.cortonaonthemove.com .
The main narrative is made up of the stories that international photographers and video makers will document about this period of crisis, concentrating on themes such as the health emergency, the economic backlash, the social and the individual consequences.
The objective is to create a permanent archive that collects images, documents, facts, reflections and emotions of this dramatic and unique historical period.
